Handmade_ South & North
Handmade always tries to connect. Connection is the most essential function of the hand. SIHF 2019 will prepare a place where people will talk about the two Koreas through handmade.
Through handmade, the two Koreas will meet each other in terms of culture and reorganize their daily lives. Eventually, handmade will connect not only the two Koreas, but also the world.
South & North represent the two current forms of handmade. We shall find out the ambivalent characteristics of handmade, such as culture and industry, creation and start-up, daily life and creation, etc., while we actively seek for a path for handmade.
